How Many Articles Are Needed To Help Bring A Blog Traffic?

let’s say the competition is kinda low. i’m talking about articles that use seo keywords for optimization. not in articles websites but in regular websites in the same niche as the blog. are ten enough to bring halfway decent traffic and help with location in google?
and how many articles should one put in the blog itself, is one enough?

I don’t get what you mean. A blog is usually an ongoing series of posts, like one a day, give or take. To help each blog post to rank for a specific keyword phrase with any exact match search volume, you will probably need to write separate articles and blogs from different sites leading to each of the hundreds of pages that you continue to write all the time. That’s what a blog is. With a website, it’s the same thing, but a blog can help it rank through cross linking. You have to maintain a blog, or Google doesn’t see it as being up to date. It sees a blog that’s been left to sit around for months as being abandoned, and punishes it for that, depending on how many back links are leading to it, whether it is on a unique domain name, lots of things. There’s a lot to it, but it’s not quick and easy. To rank for a popular search with one page, it needs to be a really popular search, and that requires more writing on other sites as back links to rank it for that search. It depends on the competition.
