How To Ask An Asian Parent To Wear Makeup?

I just posted a question explaining my strict parents.
Background info:
I am 13 years old this year (in march)
I am in 9th grade, because I skipped a grade.
I study really hard and try my very best to please my parents, even though they don’t appreciate it. (I don’t remember dad even saying i love you…).
My mom is the one who enforces all the rules that are affiliated with “teens” and it kinda pisses me off.
I’m not allowed to wear lip gloss. (sad, i know.)
I recieved crappy concealer only for my 8th grade picture (and im not allowed to wear it any other time)
My mom said i could wear makeup at 16 or 17.
But I know even then, she’ll start yelling at me.
I didn’t even bring makeup up to her and she randomly told me the rules…
I was thinking of asking her this upcoming marchwhen im 14, but I am absolutely TERRIFIED.
Should I ask in 2 years? (I get scared of my parents a lot.)
ALSO: can you help me ask her if i could tweeze little stray eyebrow hairs?
(I was super daring) and asked her last year but she gave me the scariest lecture I’ve ever had.
And she was mad about me shaving my legs…
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help!!
Sorry if this was too long.

wow does she want you to go to school looking like a caveman?
she should definitely be okay with you shaving your legs and pits, and tweezing stray eyebrow hairs.
i mean, come on. thats like personal hygiene pretty much. tell her you feel ugly when youre all hairy.
bring up school. talk about how hard youve worked, and that a LITTLE makeup won’t change a thing. it will actually make you feel more confident and focus on your work more.

You are young! STAY NATURAL. I’m Asian too and I know your problems. My ma wouldn’t let me wear makeup either because well I can’t judge myself (http://immaasianbro.tumblr.com/ <--- I'm the one that is next to my little white puppy) but it's kinda dumb that she wouldn't let you wear lip gloss XD if you want any advice message me .. baocute21@aol.com and trust me you don’t wanna shave because your armpits would turn darker. You should wax. I never shave my legs because you can barely see my arms. That’s what Asian parents are. Ahahahah. I have the same problem as you and send a picture so I could know if you need makeup or not. Remember message me on baocute21@aol.com

it’s normal for a parent to feel that way, she thinks you are too young and doesnt want to see her little girl growing up but you need to sit down and tell her that you are growing up and need to take care of the hygienic stuff such as shaving your under arms or legs. you are still pure and beautiful, you do not need make up.

Ahh asian moms. I have one too. My mom
Is korean and was brought up in a strict home. Anyway heres the deal about asian parents: you either have the strict one or the FOB kinds that dont care what you do.
You see, i try really hard to please my parents as well. And yet i never feel appreciated, its because they dont want you to get cocky or start slacking off. Its just the way it is.
At 14 i asked my mom, and this is how I would approach an asian mom.
Say something like “Mother, I know you had previously told me before that you dont want me wearing make up. But i want you to reconsider about it. All i want to wear is Mascara and nothing more. I wouldnt look like a clown or try to look weird. I feel really insecure and ugly and makeup will help boost my confidence. Also Im always worried about mascara so it AFFECTS MY STUDYING, BUT IF I HAD IT I WOULD NO LONGER WORRY ABOUT SO I CAN STUDY HARDER.”
I told my mom this ad she agreed.
