i know each one is different, but i have no idea what to expect, so, more or less, roughly. suppose i contact a website on the first page and ask for a backlink, how does it go? do i pay once, or by the month? should i expect to pay for one backlink fifty dollars a month? can i purchase it for fifty dollars permanently? should it be more?
do they bring traffic, aside from google’s ranking? do people who brows the website and see a backlink in the same niche actually click on it or does that almost never happens? is it worth it?

If it’s in the same niche I doubt they will offer you anything and if so it will be very expensive. I would advice you to start promoting your own website by yourself. Read some SEO documents and offer a nice experience to your site visitors. Also, AdWords can prove more efficient and less expensive, without limiting you advertising to a single source.
