Does It Still Count In Gods Eyes?

My partner and I are getting married next year(not in a church) and he doesn’t think that a marriage counts unless it’s on a spiritual leave as well as legal. Basically he wants a religious person to preform the ceremony. Now due to several different reason neither of us were christened as children and we are getting told that due to this they won’t marry us. I have come up with a solution but I want to know if it counts. What if we got a celebrant that is affiliated with the church. Would this count in Gods opinion?

Does it really matter all that much? A ceremony is a ceremony. It will be spiritual for the both of you and your families.

look God see a marriage as a union of a man and women together after sex you are married in the eyes of the Lord a marriage is between a man and a women Matthew 19;4-6 Have you not read that he who made them at the beginning made them male and female and said for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh so then they are no longer two but one flesh, therefore what God has joined together let no man separate a person does not have to have a Church marriage to be married look at adam and eve did they have a Church wedding i don’t think so
