I don’t have all the cash in the world to spend, I’m affiliated with a small team from a small city that plays small wars, and the 300-400 price range is too much for me at this age. I’ve played airsoft for about a year, so I’m not completely new. I ordered this gun after seeing my friends Combat Machine, and how durable and upgradable it was. So, given my criteria, would you recommend this gun?
I purchased my combat machine m4 raider a year ago with your same criteria. I’d have to say, the 140 for the gun is worth it.
I purchased mine from Airsoftgi as a package and got a 9.6 1400 mah battery for just another 25$ (the battery sells for 35-50) despite the full abs plastic construction, the gun has held up well, i only play small wars and it’s one of the best on the field.
I’ve have very few problems, the biggest being that the battery wires disconected from the motor, easy fix as i just had to unscrew the stock and connect it again. The biggest issue with the raider i’ve found lies in the battery. It is a tight fit, and cam be confusing to fit it in, and often you cannot fully retract the stock. But during play it should be extended a bit anyways.
All in all, i say get it, it’s a great gun, made in taiwan not china, by one of the best if not the best airsoft manufacurers around. I strongly recomend it as it only costs 10-20 dollars more than a jg m4 once you get a battery.
yes it is great. it is the best m4 for under 150$. it comes stock with a tightbore barrel.
