Me and three other friends of mine wanted to do the DofE award, but we’re not affiliated with any kind of organization or community group. We were wondering if we could just register as a group? Can we just do it as a group of friends or do we have to join a community group like girl guides? And if was CAN just do it as a group of friends, who can be our group leader? Can it be a parent?
If you are not already affiliated to a group then you could contact your local county council (known as the local operating authority) who can put you in touch with a local DoE centre. You can do this via the DoE website
