I looked on the CMP website, but I cannot find a club in my area. My real goal is to be eligible to purchase an m1 garand. is it okay if i just find one that will let me join online or do I actually have to be an active member with a club in my area. in reality I would actually like to be a part of the club and participate, but that seems unlikely as once again their are none in my area.
I have not joined yet but have been thinking about getting an M1. There is a Kansas City M1 Garand shooters club that, the last I knew, only cost $35/year. From what I have read, you don’t have to go to any meetings and it meets the club requirement.
Yes, there are nationally affiliated organizations that are specifically geared toward those that can’t find a suitable local organization. Usually these national clubs do have some sort of participation requirement.
