It seems that mainstream gay culture is tailored to white gays, while gays of color just have their own niches.
It’s because mainstream North American culture is Eurocentric. Change the mainstream and you change gay culture with it.
Because most of the gays who have become famous and/or made an impact upon their society have been Europeans or Americans of European descent.Just for the record this is not a racist statement.It’s merely factual.
