What Is The Difference Between Rusty Crayfish’s Native Niche And Its New Niche, (the Areas It Invaded)?

The native niche of rusty crayfish in the areas they come from (midwest and northest) is basically to keep the small fish population at bay and to provide a diet to larger crayfish, turtles, raccoons, carp, catfish, bass, and other such animals that feed on them. The areas in which they have invaded, though, they do not nescacarilly have a niche. They basically overeat and overpopulate.
