What Are Some Good Movies Similar To Howl’s Moving Castle?

I’d like to watch an anime movie with some romance! 😀 haha i LOVED Howl and Sophie and would love a similar happy ending love story 🙂 I’ve seen every miyazaki film affiliated with studio ghibli, but most of his works are for a younger audience. I’ve also seen Whispers of the Heart (?) and the girl who leapt through time, which I enjoyed alright, not as much as HMC but that can’t be helped xD So, got any good suggestions? I don’t mind if they’re for a bit more of a mature audience, but please nothing TOO graphic xD I’m not asking for porn here. haha thanks in advance!

Have you seen ” the tale of earthseed”? It’s another Hayao Miyazaki film and it’s got that fantasy and romance aspect to it.
It’s like a mix between Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away almost.

You’ve seen Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Ponyo. What about “Eden of the East” or “Summer Wars”?

1- Only Yesterday. I think it’s one of most underrated Miyazaki films. I liked it because the plot is very realistic. I related to most of the girl’s nostalgic moments.
Taeko Okajima is a typical “office lady” in a big company in a big city. When she takes a sabbatical to the countryside in Yamagata Prefecture, the hometown of her brother-in-law, the journey recalled her memory of her 5th grade year. During her stay in Yamagata, she works hard and happily as a farmer and is surrounded by friendly relatives and villagers, bringing up more memories. Their hospitality makes her to reconsider her choice of life. http://myanimelist.net/anime/1029/Only_Y…
2- 5 Centimeters Per Second. This movie is just brilliant.
Tohno Takaki and Shinohara Akari, two very close friends and classmates, are torn apart when Akari’s family is transferred to another region of Japan due to her family’s job. Despite separation, they continue to keep in touch through mail. When Takaki finds out that his family is also moving, he decides to meet with Akari one last time.
As years pass by, they continue down their own paths, their distance slowly growing wider and their contact with one another fades. Yet, they keep remembering one another and the times they have shared together, wondering if they will have the chance to meet once again.http://myanimelist.net/anime/1689/5_Cent…
3- Kiki’s Delivery Service. One of my favorites.
Kiki is an enterprising young girl who must follow tradition to become a full-fledged witch. Venturing out with only her chatty black cat, Jiji, Kiki flies off for the adventure of a lifetime. Landing in a far-off city, she sets up a high-flying delivery service and begins a wonderful experience of independence and responsibility as she finds her place in the world.http://myanimelist.net/anime/512/Kikis_D…
4- Tokyo Godfathers. Another must-see film.
Three homeless companions — a runaway girl, a transvestite, and an alcoholic — find an abandoned newborn on Christmas Eve while foraging through trash. Using clues found next to the baby, they fan out through Tokyo to find the parents, along the way confronting reminders of their own lives they have nearly abandoned.http://myanimelist.net/anime/759/Tokyo_G…
    Enjoy!
