I make a game called “Tuba Hero” now, i know they can since it might confuse people that they might think it’s an activision game. But, what if i put on the cover “Not affiliated with activision. Could they still?
the mnames of musical instruments and the word hero are not copyrighted in any way other than ” guitar hero”
hence using the word hero would not be a copyright violation. no sweat.
What flubbety said, plus, do you play the game like guitar hero? If so then yes you could have an issue.
