Buy Or Sell: The Wu-tang’s Group Of Affiliates Have Gotten To Large?

I was just looking at the tracklist for Legendary Weapons and it really bothers me how half of the verses are by non original Wu members. The group is already big enough as it is, the original members already have limited verses as it is. Did anyone else like how it was back on 36 Chambers when it was just the original members spitting? (With the exception of one Masta Killa verse)

by the sound of there last album it sounded dope i mean its wu tang clan album not a raekwon album……………….. naw im sayin

  2. BDK says:

Masta kills was a member but he was in jail for 36 chambers

  3. Profound Shaolin says:

it’s not a proper album it’s a compilation album… so of coarse loads of the affiliates would be on it.
btw it got leaked and it’s a great album for a compilation album.
EDIT* It’s not a mixtape… it’s a compilation album. did you even read what i said?
EDIT* Okay that’s cool. but Raekwon said they are gonna be working on an actual album soon.

put Killah before or after your name and you will automatically be apart of Shaolin

  5. Johnny Blaze says:

    ur stupid

  6. im not cool says:

rent, some of them make very little material so i want to actually hear them rap but I also enjoy the affiliates.

there’s not really a whole lot of Wu-Tang affiliates on that album. just Trife, Killa Sin and Bronze Nazareth. the rest are just guest appearances from non Wu members/Wu affiliates. it was meant to be a compilation similar to Chamber Music… which was in fact meant to be a compilation similar to Wu-Tang Meets The Indie Culture which also had a lot of non Wu appearances. Wu-Tang Clan is working on another album according to Raekwon, so if you have a lot of patience, you’ll get a new project pretty soon. Legendary Weapons was still a dope release whether it had a lot of Wu-Tang appearances or not.

I’m cool with Capadonna, (mainly because he’s been there for a long f*cking time), Shyheim (should be featured more)…maybe Streetlife or Redman, cause Redman is crazy entertaining, while most Wu-Tang affiliates are boring as sh*t.
Buy…..You hardly get to hear your favorite Wu member as it is with there being 8 members (RIP ODB)…then they gotta throw in 15 guys I could care less about. I checked that tracklist a couple weeks ago…Meth was only listed on 1 song…thats some bullshit.
