Probability Question?

Please help me with this question:
In 2005, McDonald’s had 31913restaurants system wide. Of these, 18334 were operated by franchisees, 9283 by the company and 4296 by affiliates. What is the probability that a randomly selected McDonald’s restaurant is operated by either franchisee or affiliate?

Experimental Probability Formula : P(event) = number of times an event happens/number of times experiment is done
The Probability Formula :Number of favorable outcomes/number of possible outcomes
    =P(event)
    18334/31913=P(franchise)
    4296/31913=P(affiliate)
