hi basically i hav just lost my job with a days notice through no fault of my own (the shop shut down) which sucks has anyone done secret shopping for companies in the uk (london) and actually made any money let me know if u hav and what companies they were
also if you had bad experiences let me know too an which companies to avoid.
also has any one done any work and made money for market research companies either as interviewers or interviewees
please help i really need to make cash before Christmas an there’s not long to go also if u hav any other realistic ways i could get a job in the north london area PLEASE let me no

You aren’t going to make money secret shopping – most shops only pay £5-10 and you are lucky to get 1 assignment every 8 weeks. You also don’t get paid upfront, you get paid 30 days after you submit your evaluation form. The big companies in London are Quality Eye and Retail Eyes but I don’t know if either are accepting new shoppers. Most agencies have more shoppers than they need as companies are not investing as much in mystery shopping in this economy. Many companies are now using their own employees to shop at their other locations instead of going through a research company
