So for christmas I am torn between a Zune or Ipod. I really like Ipods however I am not willing to pay a dollar per song! First question is can I use a program like limewire to get songs onto my Ipod or not? Also are there any additonal charges w/ an Ipod touch? For example internet etc? On the Zune I want to know if I can only get songs through Zune’s store also (charges affiliated too).
well you cant use limewire anymore its illegal also you dont have to pay a dollar per song you just got to find the right website i used to want a zune but i really like my ipod

I have a zune, and the zune store is a music subscription service. That is, $15 a month for unlimited song downloads. So as long as you download more than 15 songs a month, its worth your money.
I love my Zune HD. The only issue with it is a lack of apps; but it has all the necessary ones (facebook, twitter, weather, and some games, and they are all free).
Liimewire won’t work anymore. It got shut down. And I have a 50 dollar gift card on ksl for 40$ im selling. So you can go look at the ad.. and limewire gives you viruses on your computer.. You have to get internet on it too. like if you want internet you need to be able to find a wifi place and use it.. But i think internet is extra with a touch.. I get my music from Bear share or frostwire..
u can find free music in the Internet so u can still get an iPod 🙂
get the ipod touch… the zune is a piece of crap compared to it. (no offence microsoft)
anyway you can get music off bittorrent and 4shared .com and easly put it on your ipod using itunes.
And the only charge for an ipod is the starting price. Everything else is free. (except for certain apps)
with the ipod touch you get:

-Retina Display
-Microphone
-Multi touch display
-Access to hudnreds of thousands of apps
-and the list goes on and on….
Ive had one over the past two years and its been like family to me.
