Religious People If I Offered You A Magic Bean Would You Take It.?

1 corinthians 14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Hugh!…………!
Here is an axiom or paradigm for you:
As cave men did we struggle to even contemplate our existence as we looked to the stars barely literate and utter the word Goh! Goh! “Oh it must be God”, but not before it became “Elohim” (Hebrew biblical text and translates correctly to “those who came from the sky”) to GOD. Oh it must be GOD!
Primitively evolved ego blames god and the devil and puts everything in little boxes in the mind in order to recognize and relate to them. This weakness exploited by others for purposes of social division, avarice greed and power over others as we beat our chests in satisfaction.
The hunt was successful today!
Dogma is the established belief or doctrine held by a religion, ideology or any kind of organisation which is slowly but surly becoming a paradigmatic solution of the past as our ego continues to evolve a more rational perception of ones self. Hence the birth of alternative faiths like scientology & Kabbalah.
(This niche in the market being exploited)
Humanity is up to you and defines the person moral basis when reacting to his/her moments of adversity from which we can acquire knowledge, wisdom and better Karma.
Good luck!

Enlightenment is what allows us to look at the context and see what the verses really mean.
During the time period, women were gossiping all the time in church. Paul was telling them to stfu, nothing more. Wooooo, translation fail.
Any other generic verses you’d like to bring up with no understanding of history?

Yet another one has fallen prey to Corinthians Guy’s antics…
What you’re not seeing is spirituality. Imagine trying to explain the existence of colors to a blind person who refuses to consider the experiences of anyone with sight. Without a relationship with God, going to church and all of the other “Christian things” are meaningless.

As a Scientologist of 39 years this is my truth. Nothing magic. Just axiomatic (self evident truths).
The Scientology religion deals with the human spirit and its relationship to the universe and its Creator. It teaches that the fundamental laws of life, when applied, help people achieve a happier and more fulfilling existence, just as surely as an apple falls to the ground when dropped.
Scientology contains numerous workable methods :
bullet To deal with life situations
bullet To create strong interpersonal relationships, raise bright and able children and have happy and lasting marriages.
It also contains techniques to tackle the most serious social problems of our age — illiteracy, drugs, crime and immorality. Scientology is something one does: it is not just a system of beliefs one is asked to hold.
The keynote of the Scientology religion is the human spirit — its salvation and rehabilitation. It teaches that an individual is a spirit — not a body, a brain, or a fortuitous random conglomeration of genes and chemicals. It is this recognition of the nature of an individual that forms the foundation of the Scientology religion. Throughout the ages, man has traditionally viewed himself as a spiritual being. It is only in the last century that the materialistic idea that man is a mere animal similar to a monkey or rat has taken hold. Scientology teaches that this idea is patently false, unworkable, and acts as a barrier to personal understanding of life. One little suspects how much untapped potential one has to create his or her own life.
Scientology directly addresses an individual’s spiritual nature with answers to the age-old questions — Who am I? What do I consist of? Where do I come from? Where am I going? This spiritual enlightenment leads to personal understanding of oneself, others and one’s relationship to the Universe.
BTW, the bible (including Corinthians) has been altered at least 2 times in the last 300 years.
