Ways To Stop Being Anti-social?

Hey all,
I’m a senior at the University of Washington and I have had a lot of social interaction in my past. Somehow, people still don’t like me. Maybe I just haven’t found my niche. Either way, I don’t want to stop trying. So, does anybody have any suggestions on things I can do to meet people in the Seattle area? How can I make myself seem more approachable? How do I get more social and likeable?
I just want to make some friends.

If you’re in college or some social gathering type place, it’s pretty easy to make friends. Make sure to sit next to the people you want to befriend or that look appealing to you and make conversation and it will sprout that easily. From my experience, people are less willing to become your friend if you’re not in some place you’ll be seeing each other regularly like college and sh*t unless maybe you’re at a bar or something. I’ve tried to make friends with random people who work at stores and sh*t but they just seem to be fake and hide the fact that they’re freaked out

people feel more comfortable talking to some one on thier level. without judgement . add some compassion. listen more talk less and you can learn more about people. also body expresstions are a way of communicating . if someone rolls thier eyes ect. and if these dont apply to you then you may just need to seek out a new group of people. we are all different i think that is great dont you?
