my xbox 360 was internally broken i kept my hard drive and got my profile, but i can’t remember any of my login info (email used, password, secret question, anything really), all i remember is my gamer Tag. i really don’t want to make a new one as i have bought things via th market place and would like to have access to my previous purchases. is there a way to just figure out the login info for my file. Please help cause i spent a quite a bit of money at the market place and just want my downloads back.
You can always try to the main website, as it is connected with xbox live.

You sound like a smart guy so what did you do use the tray as a cup holder?
Does the Hard drive still work? If so, shouldn’t the downloads still be on the Hard Drive along with your profile so you wouldn’t need to remember the details ?
Contact Xbox support. If you’ve bought content, then you obviously have a valid Xbox live account. They will not be able to change your password most likely, but they will be able to give your login email address. You’ll have to verify through your credit card information.
