I want to know how you’re meant to research, especially topics that are very niche or hardly mentioned on the internet. I just hate it when you can’t find anything anywhere.

Now that you know the contribution margin and have calculated how many consumers are likely to buy this product in Canada (as well as the likely rate they will buy it at, per year), determine and justify which approach SmartestPharma™ should take in launching this product in Canada (i.e. soft launch mostly PR for $500 000, or full out launch for $2.5 million).

Suggested Retail Price (MSRP): 15$ per bottle of 150 mL
Suggested retail strategy (MSRS): Given its added medicinal ingredients and benefits, MouthX costs more to manufacturer (CM of only 15%, compared to typical CM=25%), and should command a price premium that should never be discounted or price promoted at-shelf. Manufacturer-led media behind the brand will be significant through year one of launch. BASES research indicates niche consumers will purchase this product consistently throughout the year. Actual usage and consumption patterns are yet to be observed.

I am currently drafting a business plan for an online brokerage firm that fills a niche. Neither my partner nor I have any investment certifications or experience (we will hire the necessary people); however, from my research I see that in order to be a broker, you must have a Series 7 certification. My question is who within an online brokerage firm is required to hold such a certification, at the minimum?
1) Nobody since computers will be doing the investing and not people.
2) At least one of the principle founders/partners.
3) At least one of the hired executives or managers.
4) Anyone within the organization regardless of their position.
5) The company itself can acquire a Series 7 certification irrespective of the people within the organization.

I want to use something along the lines of either of their assassinations. If this topic isn’t good enough or is a bit too sketchy. This IS NOT my final research question; it is only my topic. Any help would be highly appreciated.

So a friend of ours recently recommended that we try to to get some information about this institute for treatment.
However, the website seems kind of vague and I don’t even know if they treat small cell lung cancer outside of trials or not… Upon further research I noticed that they have been doing the antineoplastins trials for years now and nobody can really confirm or deny that it is working.
The COST of treatment is INSANE. Of course, I know that any form of cancer treatment and medicine is a bit out there… but they ask for $500 just to look at your records, $1000 for the consult, then a DEPOSIT of $10,000 for ‘treatment’, and $5000 – $10,000 for medicine deposits.. as well as a monthly fee of a few thousand.
I’m just not sure how I feel about it at all. I am not the patient here, it’s my mom.. but before we get our hopes up on anything I am trying my hardest to research the options. I have heard of gene-therapy and that there are several trials out there that HAVE gotten good results. I think I am most un-nerved by the fact that this particular clinic isn’t affiliated with any insurance companies and the FDA took YEARS to allow the trials to move to phase three.
Does anyone have any alternative places to share? Or has anyone tried this clinic with good results?
We aren’t too well on funding at the moment (but we can find ways to cover it.. should we find some form of proof that the treatment DOES work) and I would much rather prefer to spend the money on actually keeping my mother healthy- instead of giving the money to people who are feeding on the hopes of the ill.
We are trying our best to find a way to help my mother and hopefully beat this cancer. Any help on this subject or if someone can even find some kind of research reguarding these treatments.. I would much appreciate it

I am moving to Portland in January 2012 but I am going to visit this coming week to check out how I like it. I would love any info any one has about Portland: work, where to live, where to find places to live, bookshops, farmers markets, parks, transportation, neighborhoods, downtown, places to hangout, best kept local secrets, best places to eat, etc. Anything you can tell me will be helpful. I have done some research in books, but I am looking for something beyond the tourist guides. I want to experience the local culture.
I am going to be attending PSU in a graduate book publishing program in the winter semester.
