I want to start an affiliate website-meaning that I will put banners of other peoples products on my website-if someone clicks and buys-I will make a commission.
I have the code from the banners-but when I try to copy and paste it-i just keep getting the code,not the banner-how do I put the banners on the website?

Are you copy and pasting it in a wysiwyg program e.g. dreamweaver? If so, select where you want to put it and click the code tab, then paste it where the cursor is
You must know how to actually code with HTML/CSS or learn to use the visual web editor you have which will allow you to insert active HTML in the Visual Mode.

of course you would replace theimagesname with the name the img type with for EX: .jpg .jpeg .png
and replace The Website with the link EX: http://www.Name.com/
