It depends on your state laws, but you can create a not-for-profit corporation or a limited liability company (LLC). You should get advice from an lawyer because there are lots of factors to consider, but I think you will probably want to be an LLC.
I have gone through the process of incorporating myself. I tried incorporating myself for my personal business, but with state laws i found it to be a little complex.
