Could I Market My Funk Marinade That Ii Plan To Use A Signature Sauce In My Restaurant?

Im not sure if youve heard, but I want to make a family restaurant called Larry’s family funhouse, its going to have a nice charming interior with photos of me holding a trophy, me line dancing, me in vegas winning the big one and photos of me that you get at theme parks on rides. Its going to feature the “L-bone steak”, larrys famous fish nuggets and a promo callec funky friday with meal deals, specials such as my funk steak and a funk themed disco. What do you think of the restaurant opinions and additional ideas are welcome, and more importantly can I market my famous funk steak marinade and larrys secret recipe ketchup for folks to take home? do I need a patent ect
Cheers, Big L

Since you are obviously on an ego trip why not try marketing (or do you mean selling?) your sauce.
As for patents …. Yes you need to be sure your secret recipe is really a secret and not already someone else’s. The Patent Office will tell you. Also since you have, by law, in most countries have to display the ingredients on the label it won’t be a secret for very long.
NB In the UK Marketing and selling are two very different things.

As a man who enjoys eating out at establishments, your funhole sounds like a really decent family restaurant. The sauces sound delish beyond belief. Gotta patent the beasts. Keep your recipe secret like in a safe or summat until you get a patent. Good luck Larry, open your funhole as quick as poss.
