How Much Website Traffic Is Good Enough?

I have a few blogs which get maybe 100 visitors a month. This isn’t generating much revenue from AdSense. Of course, it’s likely not getting high CPCs on the ads. I don’t want that to be my aim. I’m looking to find what monthly would be good enough traffic to make decent money off of even with low CPCs.
What kind of traffic would give me spending cash, like to see Broadway musicals or something? And what kind of traffic would be required to live comfortably off of it? I don’t need Beyonce numbers. Just something reasonable for a good niche site.

With all due respect, that would be like asking, what is a comfortable amount of money to live on? Some would say $20,000 a year, some $20,000 a month, and others $20,000 a week. It is relative. Obviously, you aren’t getting enough traffic. Figure out your click through ratio, the amount you make per click and that will give you an idea of what traffic you need. So, if you get 1000 visits a month, a 1% click through would be 10 clicks. At $0.25 per click (as an example) would be a whopping $2.50 a month. You need more? For $2500 a month (multiplied by 1000) you would need 1 million visitors a month. So, if you can’t get that traffic, you need a higher payout, or a higher click through ratio, or more sites.

Whatever anyone else tells you Blogs will NOT earn a good revenue from Adsense. Forget blogs and learn how to make proper websites. Good websites that gain thousands of visitors a day! Then you’ll start earning good money, you can trust me on that one!
