First Question ^^ :how Come Im Confused About Who I Am Right Now ?

Ohhkaii so this is my first question ^^
And its quite confusing .
Its just I dont know who I am . I feel so abandonned . As if no one wants me in their life . Everybodys forcing me to do things I dont like . My favorite / talent is art & music (piano or vocals) but my parents dont appreciate it . They want me to be good at the academics , something I really really try to do good at , but its just … I dont know how to explain … not something my HEART wants .
If I told my parents I want to be a model , theyd be screaming at me and ground me for years and not talk to me .
And my school life . My friends , for example . I never feel like fitting in . Dont get me wrong . I have a lot of friends . But not one best friend that I can actually trust and share my feeling with . And guys . I attract the wrong type of guys . Jocks that only want a one night stand or seeing if I can fck them hard . I want a nice boy that I can relate to . Likes my type of music (rock , screamo , bands) & knows how I feel .
Whats wrong with me ? Have I just not discovered my niche in this world yet ?
Also a little more information : I have a councellor / therapist .
And next month Im going to check if I have any sort of depression or short attention span (what was it called again ? A_ _ )
And my life is exactly the same as the song “Welcome to My Life” by Simple Plan .
But help me please ? [:
Thank you ! <3
BTW If you need help leave your question here ^^
Thanks again šŸ˜€

You know who you are and what you like but haven’t let yourself do it yet as your trying to keep the peace and please your parents and friends. You really need to go see some bands your into and there you will meet like minded people who are into the same things as you are. Its amazing how great it is to meet guys and girls that like the same kind of scene as you do and it can lead to meeting lots of new friends that are into the same kind of stuff. I’m not suggesting messing your family life up at all but you cant go living your life in someone else’s shoes. You really need to complete your school work and college and look into doing something that suits what you love and want to spend your life doing. It also helps if you can steer this towards a good career where you will be able to financially support yourself in the future. Have you thought about having a private tutor for your singing and piano as they can help guide you a lot and it will show your parents how serious you are about this.

You don’t need to give up the things you love and have a passion for, but its always good to have something else to fall back on as well. It’s more of a security for yourself. You’re still very young and you have so much time to discover who you are and what your destiny lies in because everyday is a learning experience for you. So keep working as hard as you can to keep your grades good enough in school to get you somewhere and when you get to college, just go for what you feel is best for yourself and what you’ll be happy with. Your parents may not like it, but eventually they’ll come to terms with accepting that you are your own person and should follow what you’re taking initiative in.
To give you a quick example, I’ve always and still dream of becoming a musician and tour the world, but that’s very unlikely to happen because of how difficult it is to get into the music business unless you had familiar contacts to get you way up there. So I found something else to backup with and that was child care, I’m good with kids and now for the past 3 years I’m working as a nursery teacher and I love it, and yes some days I sit at home and think I wish I was doing something else but it’s also good to have that other part of you thinking, it’s also good money and a good way to save up for a nice little place for my future. Having something to build up for when you start a family. But that doesn’t mean I’ve given up music altogether, I still play the guitar and took part in courses where I could play on stage with a band and someday I will be starting a band of my own, starting off having jamming sessions to eventually trying out playing for small venues. Sometimes little things like that can get you noticed and lead up to more exciting things till you’re heading for heart felt goal you dream for.
So don’t give up on everything, keep doing what your doing with the piano and singing, but don’t neglect your school work either because that’s going to open up many doors for you. And as for boys, that’s also something that’s going to take some time before finding the right guy for you. Ignore the idiots and just carry on your own business and act as if they don’t exist to you. You’re going to meet many people in your life to come whether it be in school, college, work or just passing by. Anything’s possible.
