I am considering doing an MBA from Annamalai distance education which is associated with Avagmah and has online training. I was looking at specializing in Media & Entertainment or in Sales or Marketing. They say that the course is industry affiliated. your views appreciated….

I had applied online for an “AMERICAN EXPRESS PLATINUM CARD” and got a reply that said someone would be contacting me. About a week later I got a call that said my online application had been approved and I was going to be receiving an “EXPRESS PLATINUM CARD” with a credit limit of $5,000. If I would like to get this card then I needed to pay the first years fee’s of $99. I said ok. They read off my bank account information and that was that. Two weeks later I didn’t receive my card so I called their number 800-887-2636 and was told that they are an online shopping store and the credit is with their store only and they are not affiliated with American Express. I ask for a refund and was told that there is no refunds. I ask for a copy of our recorded phone conversation and was told that it was not in their policy to do so. I had to close my bank account (incase they try to take more money) and file a form to try to recover the money. I am trying to file a complaint with the BBB but you have to have an address and I have tried calling them back and they put me on hold for hours then hang up. Google does not pull up any address…just other peoples complaints. Anyone else go thru this?

I am looking to create a niche website for a specific type of product and group of people. I need it to operate SIMILAR (in some regards) to eBay or Amazon. Namely, people need to be able to fill out a short profile about themselves (which will be used for people to filter searches), and then they can upload their product to sell.
All payments will need to be traceable by the account holder, though it will all be processed through us and paid out monthly.
Is there any kind of software that can do this, or will I have to hire a programmer?

I have a computer business and have been looking into reselling online backup solutions to my customers but I wouldnt make any money at 30% commission becoming an affiliate or reseller partner. So I have been wondering if I can get away by selling it to my customers and getting them to pay me each month for the subscription (higher price) and then I pay the online service the original price and I make margin. Is this possible? The only thing is would the company get suspicious if they saw me paying multiple accounts each month?
