Eid Ghadeer Mubarak, Shi’a People, Do You Know A Better Description Of Ahlul Bayt From The Quran?

Sadaqa Allahu Al Aliu Al’atheem
Surat Al Noor 35-38
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.
The Parable of His Light is as if there were a
Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed
in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from
a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of
the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire
scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide
whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables
for men: and Allah doth know all things.
(35) (Lit is such a light) in houses, which Allah hath
permitted to be raised to honour; for the celebration,
in them of His name: in them is He glorified in the
mornings and in the evenings, (again and again)―
(36) By men whom neither traffic nor merchandise
can divert from the Remembrance of Allah nor from
regular Prayer, nor from the practice of regular
Charity: their (only) fear is for the Day when hearts
and eyes will be transformed (in a world wholly new)― (37)
Sadaqa Allahu Alalliu Al’Atheem
Imam Muhammad bin Ali al Baqir said:
“The houses referred to in verse 36 of An Nur are the houses of the prophets and the holy Imams.”
Thalabi, in the interpretation of this verse, relates from Anas bin Malik and Buraydah that when the Holy Prophet recited this verse, Abu Bakr stood up and asked, pointing towards the house of Ali and Fatimah, whether that house was included in the houses referred to and the Holy Prophet replied:
“Yes, and it is better than other houses to which this verse refers.”
Qutadah, an eminent scholar, says that once he told Imam Jafar bin Muhammad as Sadiq, while sitting in his company:
“I sat with many a great scholar, but my heart never felt the awe and reverence in any company it feels in your presence.”
The Imam said:
“Because you are sitting in the house glorified by Allah in the Quran (and recited this verse).”

What Do You Think Of This Parable In The Qur’an?

(34) Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is as it were a shining star. (This lamp is) kindled from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself) though no fire touched it. Light upon light. Allah guideth unto His light whom He will. And Allah setteth forth for mankind similitudes, for Allah is Knower of all things. (35) (This lamp is found) in houses which Allah hath allowed to be exalted and that His name shall be remembered therein. Therein do offer praise to Him at morn and evening.
Explanation:
The light is the faith. The niche is the chest. The glass (vessel) is the heart. Ubayy bin Ka`b and others said, “This is the likeness of the heart of the believer.” The olive tree is how pure the faith is. Light upon light! Some authorities recite the word Durriyyun with a Dammah on the Dal and without a Hamzah, which means pearls, i.e., as if it were a star made of pearls (Durr). Others recite it as Dirri’un or Durri’un, with a Kasrah on the Dal, or Dammah on the Dal, and with a Hamzah at the end, which means reflection (Dir’), because if something is shone on the star it becomes brighter than at any other time. The Arabs call the stars they do not know Darari. Ubayy bin Ka`b said: a shining star. Qatadah said: “Huge, bright and clear.” And just as the oil after a long time makes black line around the glass and you need to clean it you need to clean your heart every once in a while to eradicate sins.
isnt it beautiful?
