Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I work at home as a full-time internet marketer. I’m an affiliate, so I sell a lot of different products, but among them is a program that I absolutely love. I am not dependent on sales of this program in order to make my living, but it’s got great residual income potential, so I’ve been working on it for a while now, and I’m having trouble connecting I suppose. So I’m curious about people’s opinions.
This is not an MLM – is is for internet marketing education. You can learn almost anything – affiliate marketing, website development, keyword research,SEO, etc, but I’m having a little trouble competing with all the “Make $1,000 a day!” ads. I know the work at home niche is very competitive, but I get a lot of traffic to my sites, and I offer real information – not a scam “system.” So I would think people appreciate my honesty and candor. However I’ve been told I need to completely rewrite things before because they were considered too “negative” (which I take to mean honest – I give people the good the bad and the ugly about this industry.
So I want some real people’s opinions out there. What do you think holds people back from trying to start their own online businesses? Is it fear of failure? Is it skepticism?
And secondly, do you think people are right about having to pump up your claims in order to get sales? Personally I like a straght-forward person, but maybe I’m not the typical consumer?

I need to start and maintain a website-webstore based on an ARTIST’s writings to sell his art. I have NEVER made a website before and this needs to be very professional. I am willing to pay a maximum of $40/month. It must have card-payment/Paypal CHECKOUT, a collection of BLOGS, ability to hold multiple PHOTOS per product, a very visual INTRO PAGE with multi-language options, preferably a modifiable BACKGROUND image, AFFILIATE capabilities, and it would be ideal if I could start me off with a TEMPLATE which allows flexible MODIFICATION options.
It would be great if you could provide a brief mention of your suggested sites/WEBHOSTS etc. with their advantages and disadvantages also..

I want to start trading stocks. I tried to open an account on tradeking, but I was not able to because my husband works for a securities firm. The website said that they do not offer “affiliated accounts.” Are there any online stock brokers that do allow this?

Please help me. l have a website and my hosting is running out because am not using it.
Basically, l like to sell different product on my website “like kids toys, digital item, etc..” but l don’t have money now to purchase those item now. So am guessing is there a way l can find a store or website that sell all the item then add it to my website and purchase it for cheaper price then send it to customer.
Does any body think this a good idea?
Or
If there is any manufacturer out there that can permit to me add there product to my website then purchase it from them and earn commission.

Is this a long term process or are there ways to speed it up through taking smart steps?
I realize that you must start a website and add great content and get traffic.
