If anyone has ever used this I have a couple questions that are super vague on the site.
First, it says one referral per household. Does that mean I can only refer one person per household, or that I can only get the reward from the first person I refer?
Second, it says the money is sent at the end of the month. Can I use that on their site prior to that or do I need to first wait for a check then put in bank?

I’m thinking about creating a movie database site similar to IMDb. However, I need to know if I need to gain permissions from movie studios to use the movie synopsis/description, cover/poster image, etc. of the movies on the site? Or, would that be covered by the fair use law? Will I need to right my own movie descriptions of each film?
Also, I would like to be able to make money for promoting the movies at some point (if I can right off the cuff, then great). You know, by signing up with Amazon and Netflix affiliate programs. So, what’s the best way to do all of this without getting sued (since everything in the world seems to be copyrighted material)?
Thanks.

I’m in the process of building a unique website that should attract a good number of repeat visitors in a niche market. I personally think most ads are sooo annoying. But then I want to make money too.
The website will offer an ongoing service and develop a semiloyal following who will hopefully refer their friends. So I could charge for subscriptions or sell adspace or both.
For simplicity sake it seems the best bet would be subscriptions, but then I would lose so many people who are looking for a freebie. I would retain some paying customers though.
I wouldn’t know where to begin by making money with ads, but then everybody would run to my site because it was free. What do you guys think? Should I offer free accounts with ads and paid accounts without ads?

I don’t get how Boxers get paid 15M+ for fights and top MMA fighters never break 500k. At the last UFC event according to this link:
http://mmajunkie.com/news/21951/ufc-125-salaries-thiago-silva-and-frankie-edgar-top-872k-fighter-payroll.mma
The main event fighter (Who is a Belt holder) only made 102k, and that’s including his win bonus too.
At first I thought maybe way more people go to Boxing live events and they fill 100k stadiums, but then I figured, the last UFC with GSP headlining had 23k and they still didn’t come close to a boxing payroll. Then I logically thought way more people must watch Boxing PPV’s, however at the GSP vs Koshcheck II post-fight press conference Dana White mention how the UFC is “In half a billion homes worldwide”.
So what is it exactly that allows Boxers to be paid so much more? I can’t imagine, even if it’s more popular than the UFC that it can be THAT much popular. For it to make sense in that way, they would have to be in 5 billion homes worldwide and selling out 800k stadiums, it’s just not logical.
So anyone know the secret to this advance boxing marketing?
