Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I’m looking to develop an application for smart phones. I realize that there are a million different apps being created every day but I’m confident mine has a niche. I know about sites like kickstarter.com but they prohibit people from getting money to hire a developer. Does anyone have any tips?

Sites like hotfile, rapidshare have their affiliate program which pays for every download.
I have seen many people sharing their mediafire links in various forums & I just want to know does mediafire pays them too?
If mediafire does not pay then why do sites like mediafiremoviez.com are uploading to their server?

I have looked endlessly.
I want an option to do some work online for just a couple of hours a day, i dont need to earn a huge amount just some extra cash for of the some things i want like a holiday or a new phone. I have found a few ways but to be honest i cant be bothered spending 30 minutes on a boring survey for just 50p.
The other condition is im in the UK so finding sites is a bit more difficult as alot only offer US residents or pay in dollars which isnt too much of a problem but i would prefer if it was a straight UK site.
SO, what ways are there to make money online? I was thinking about making a site with affiliate programs+ adverts etc.
What I want to know is what YOU have already tried and failed/suceeded in. I dont mind spening time making something like a website as i have the patience with more design work unlike surveys.

I’ve been doing affiliate marketing for a while. I picked the marketplace of my favorite, generate a hoplink, and I put it in as the destination url and bought traffic to that site and it brought 6000 visitors to it. So far, I’m making no money.
What went wrong? Is it that I’m missing something or don’t have a website or a blog? Or is it that ClickBank is a scam?

I would like to make a little extra money, and i would like someone who got it to work for them help me out a little. Thanks!
