Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I used to be one of the top students in my class and in my small “niche” when I was young. However, the older I got, the more I started to wonder what the whole point was. I easily used to get 95-100% on assignments or tests in the beginning of the year in highschool, then kind of taper off because of burnout since my physique was my most major weakness at that time. Up until then, my parent’s pressure kept me going, as well as personal interest in my studies. I enjoyed my teachers who seemed to be great motivators and mentors.
I would see certain students with 97% averages (I was friends with one of them) and kind of wonder what the whole point was trying to “be the best”. People who did this were not necessarily happier people and all the hard work and drive to prove superiority or higher achievement over another would lead to a short term feeling of satisfaction of “proving that one’s better”. Then if you were to go to the top, you would go through all the stress, competition and pain trying to maintain it…until you find another person better than you and the whole process would repeat itself. It doesn’t always necessarily mean that these people are necessarily better people either. The ones I’ve met were downright narcissistic on a pathological level (and lie to preserve a perfect image), were obnoxious, and generally not well liked either.
So what motivates these cutthroat competitive people? Their short term feeling of satisfaction of “superiority”? All that hard work, strained relationships, all for that? Or is it to please their parents?
Just wondering what you think of this.

I would like to try to use Magic and Use my LS skills. I have been LS since the beginning of the game and it’s my niche. I would like to also try to use Magic as well. So what do you guys think would be a great equipment setup for someone who wants to use both LS and Magic.

Why did the lady kick me out of her house?
I am a part-time Sales Rep, and I was promoting some products at a lady’s house. The lady was 90 years old. At the beginning of my demo, she got up, looked out her window, and said: “He is coming. I can’t be seen with you. You are going to have to leave my house”.
I thought maybe it was a racial issue (I am a South Asian minority). However, the lady was black, and I think she was Islamic and affiliated with an Islamic Church.
Why did she kick me out of her house?
Did it have something to do with her religion? Did she kick me out of her house because of racial reasons?
I even had asked her before I left her house. I said: “Are you kicking me out because of the color of my skin?”. She made some strange “tick-like” behavior with her head, and responded: “Yeah, your going to have to leave”. Her response sounded kind of like as if she was thinking about something else, while responding.
But, I don’t think it could of been a racial reason, because she had let me in her house, and even when I left, she said bye to me nicely and stuff. I don’t know…….given the lady’s age and other factors, the whole appointment with her was awkward, even though she did seem like a NICE lady.
I had this appointment with her back on February 15th.
I was thinking of calling this lady on the phone today, and saying to her: “Hi, i had an appointment several weeks ago with you. I was just curious of why u had kicked me out of your house so early during my demo-presentation of the products i was selling. Was it because of the color of my skin?”. However, that would be a strange thing to do, since the appointment was several weeks ago, and the lady is 90 years old, so she probably doesn’t remember or is aware of what happened that day.
And she said that she was the only one who lived in that house.
She gave me her secretary’s phone number during the beginning of my demo-presentation (before she had asked me to leave), which ended up not even being her secretary, but just her friend (I found that out, after calling the secretary and speaking with her. She told me that she was not her secretary, but just her friend). Okay.
By the way, I am a 24 year old male (just to let you know). Okay.

Hello, I am from CA and formed an LLC (as a single member) in Wyoming the beginning of the year (2010). I formed it there since it’s just an online affiliate business. Now it was not until late summer of 2010 that I began working on it and having business activities.
Thus far, I have a registered agent in WY, an EIN (listed as a partnership/multi-member), a bank account setup for WY, and currently one owner. After doing more research, the company that formed my LLC suggests I should elect to have my entity classified as a corporation (form 8832). That way, my personal income tax is separated from my LLC tax (stays away from CA) as a corporate in WY. Is this a good choice as I’m not earning much yet? However, I read that the state of CA will find ou (even if you separate yourself from the business) but if you conduct business while living in CA, you’ll pay the $800 FTB. In that case, was it a good idea to form it in WY? I’m afraid of paying both CA/WY FTB and along with SE txes on my 1040 Schedule C.
But what if I elected to have my WY LLC to be taxed as a corporate (form 8832)? The company I formed the LLC with is believes corporate taxation makes it necessary to have a separate tax return for the LLC.
Or, should I just dissolve the WY LLC and change it to an CA LLC as a sole-proprietorship?
