I consider myself somewhat of an agnostic. I completely understand why we don’t believe in the gods of certain religions, especially those of Christianity and Islam.
However I’m talking about a general creator of it all, not one affiliated with any man-made religion.
I know this is deism, and that’s actually what I’m talking about.
Even though I don’t believe in the gods of man’s religions I still find it very hard to believe that emotion, consciousness, and the ability to even ponder these things is simply a result of chemical processes in the brain. I can’t help but think that my mind is part of something more than just this nonliving Universe. I myself doubt the notion that I, a conscious, thinking human, am just a product of an accident.
I want the atheist opinion. Can we automatically rule out a creator?

– I’m 20, almost 21. I’m 6’1″ and I weigh about 64kg naked.
– Completed a year’s training etc with the Uni, obtained ABA affiliated certificate of fitness.
– I have yet to have a bout.
The reason about weight being I can overlap my thumb and my finger when measuring my wrist yet the elbow frame measuring technique yields like a 3″+ meaning it’s large? Contradictory much? I also have a negative reach, small hands with a long torso and neck.
I am putting some muscle on at the gym before semester starts again and I find that I feel far too bony and weak to bout and was thinking about gaining to 75/76kg.

I’m currently a junior attending a public high school in the southern region of the U.S.
As of this year, I am currently the salutatorian of my class, however, there is a good chance that I could become the valedictorian by my senior year. My cumulative unweighted GPA is a 3.97; my weighted GPA would be a 4.32
My most recent ACT score is that of a 31, however, I will retake it until I make a 34 or 35.
I took 2 AP tests during my sophomore year and made a 3 and a 5. I am taking 7 AP tests this year.
I am the assistant principle to concertmaster in my school orchestra; I have auditioned and attained seats in a regional and state orchestra. I volunteer at my state’s art museum, volunteer at a food bank, and will tutor other students in the summer for social science courses. I will also be attending an accredited 4-week summer program with other juniors. When I was affiliated with a church, I volunteered during a week-long community outreach program in Pennsylvania. I wrote many articles and provided photographs for my school newspaper during my freshman year; I was made editor-in-chief of my schools newspaper during my sophomore year.
I have received e-mails from schools such as Princeton and Washington University in St. Louis. Would I be good enough for such schools? If not, what else could I do to improve my chances?
