I am interested in FX movie makeup as a possible career path and was wondering if it was a good job(if you have experience with it haha)? Also, some colleges that major in this specific job and approximately the yearly salary? Oh! and if you could name some companies handling FX makeup that would take on interns or people with a degree in it that would be wonderful! I live in Ohio so I know I would probably have to move to a state that is more affiliated with movies and all but I am actually pretty good with creating cuts considering I’m only 15 and have had no real training lol here are some pictures…. http://twitpic.com/5ortks and http://twitpic.com/5ort0a they are the same cuts but different angles… thanks so much!

I want to see Dexter season 6 as it will play this fall. ShowTime is not in the available list of channel for my cable provider. Does it also air on other networks (maybe affiliates of ShowCase) such as The Movie Network?

Hi,
I need to get a letter in English translated to German for the purpose of applying for German Student Visa. I have written the english version but I need help in writing its german translation which is also required by the consulate for considering my visa application. Here is the letter in English:
Respected Sir/Madam,
Subject: Request for Student Visa to Germany
I am a B-Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree holder in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Kerala. I completed my B-Tech degree from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, Kerala, India (which is affiliated to the University of Kerala) in May 2010. I have been working in Infosys as a software engineer from July 2010 to present. I am interested in pursuing my higher education in the field of Microsystems technology in Germany. I have been admitted to the international master’s program in Microsystems Engineering by the University of Freiburg, for the winter semester starting October 2011. The duration of this course is two years. My long term goal is to contribute towards the advancements in the field of Microsystems by pursuing doctorate studies in this field and by continuing research work in this area.
I hereby request you to consider my application for a student visa so that I can pursue my graduate studies in Germany.

I’m working on the beginnings of a few websites for some organizations I am affiliated with, and I had this thought: I know the traditional view is that screens project at 72/96ppi, but I know this is not the case as a computer screen goes by the actual pixels and not dpi/ppi (a 357px by 423px image will display that many pixels regardless of monitor resolution…it will just look “bigger” or “smaller” depending on the resolution). So my question is, as I’m designing my site(s), does it really matter what resolution I design at? 300 so I can see more detail? Any clarification will certainly help! Thanks in advance!
