I got a quick question about how LLC companies are taxed. Do the companies get taxed on the total income or the total profit? For example lets say
$0-50k = 15% taxes and
51k-$100k = 25% taxes to keep things simple.
Now lets say my companies sources of income are as follows for a given year.
Affiliate Income = $70,000
Product Sales = $10,000
Advertising = $5,000
So the total money that has went into the company is $85,000 for the year, but from that $70k from affiliate income the actual profit is only $20k as we give back around 70% of our affiliate income for referring users to other sites & services back to the users in form of cash and prizes.
So the actual income is $35k and lets say after fees like ( licences, maintenance, employees ect) are paid the net profit of the firm is $25,000 for the year. So do i pay 15% of 25k in taxes or 25% of 80k in taxes?

If religious organizations want to be free of government regulation, why do they cooperate in government payments to carry out their mission?
If the mission of a religious (Catholic) hospital is to provide care for the poor and indigent, why don’t they do that WITHOUT government subsidy?
What kind of double-standard does it take to insist they don’t have to follow government regulations as employers based on their “conscience”, but still bill the government for providing the service their “conscience” tells them to?
All opinions welcomed.

Romney and Paul are the only two GOP contenders that have polled within the margin of error against Obama in multiple polls. What’s interesting is that Obama’s support drops from 47 to 42 when the contender is Paul instead of Romney (meaning Paul vs. Obama could be a much more volatile race).
Unlike Romney, Paul does not have popular support within the Republican party. However, even Rasmussen admits Paul is the strongest GOP candidate with non-affiliated voters BY A LOT.
I mean if Obama’s support drops all the way down to almost 40 in a head to head with Paul, wouldn’t it be worth a third party run (assuming the president’s approval rating is sub 40 and Mitt Romney is still being uninspiring)? The winner would only need about 37% of the popular vote to win.http://www.marketwatch.com/story/ron-pau…
“Paul currently does best of the four [Republican candidates] among voters not affiliated with either of the major political parties”

Premiere Networks, which syndicates the Rush Limbaugh show, told its affiliate radio stations that they are suspending national advertising.
This is really big as far as money goes. I am sure Rush can survive but at what cost. Is this going to cost the show many many millions of dollars?

The ICCC (International Conference on Climate Change) seems to be run by the Heartland Institute even though they don’t say so on the conference’s website. Naomi Klein and other well-known journalists say the conference is a farce. Why is it affiliated with the University of Washington this year? Who could give me a good answer about this? I need to know because I thought the ICCC was a real conference, and was planning to present there.
