Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I prefer to work for myself doing the same thing I did as an employee but now as an independent contractor. The pay rate would be the same. I simply do not want to follow their dress code, be affiliated with the company as an employee, be evaluated by their standards, but my own standards which exceeds their standards, etc.
How would this work and what would be the reservations if any when I inform to company of my preference to be an independent contractor?

im currently a freshman at pitt state college. im looking to transfer to a university next year that has the NROTC and apply for scholarship. ive talked to a non affiliated-nrotc officer who is an OSO. he asked me a ton of questions. through all these questions i ended up qualifying, except for 1 problem: my backround record. i disclosed to him that 4-5 months ago (when i was a juvenile-17) i was charged with domestic battery. my mother and i had ended up getting into a small fight. he said that i would have qualified but since the battery was involved with a WOMAN, that it was a whole different story and that i had become disqualified.
my question is, is this a true proper disqualification? and if it is, would the nrotc recruiter disqualify me as well?

So i have seen the trailer for that movie that is causing chaos in the middle east and I have to agree (i am not a Muslim) it is offencive to Islam. But I have to ask (and this is too anyone in the angry mob)How does killing US officials that are not affiliated in any way with the move help? you got a problem with the movie I get that but you are killing Innocentnt people how is that right you really may have to let this one slip this not the US’s fault it’s the film makers.

I’ve recently found out (according to my father) that I’m 1/16th Cherokee, which, according to what I’ve read, is supposed to be a qualifying amount to be registered with the EBC.
I’ve known pretty much all my life that I was some degree of Cherokee, and I knew that it had to be not too far off because I show a lot of the features (dark hair and eyes, facial structure, etc). I’ve had people ask me if I was Cherokee and how much without me mentioning it, so I finally decided to ask how close it was.
Now that I know that it’s close enough, I was wondering what steps you have to take to actually become part of a tribe. I’m not looking for the benefits or anything (to be honest, I’m not even sure if there even are “benefits” or what those benefits would be), I just really like the culture and the history and think that it would be an awesome privilege to be affiliated with them.
Do you think I’m taking too much of a leap, here? I wouldn’t want to try anything that would be disrespectful toward them. If not, I’d really like to know how I could actually do something about joining.

My friends and I frequent a restaurant on my college campus. When we arrive, we drop all of our jackets and book-bags in some closets at the front of the restaurant before going in (at the request of the restaurant) so that we don’t have to put them on the floor under the tables and also, in part, to ensure that we are not bringing alcohol into the restaurant. We have always complied with this policy, because the restaurant asked us to. However, I recently found out from one of the restaurant’s former employees that the general manager would frequently ask restaurant staff to search through our bags while they were in those closets. I have never seen a sign posted in the restaurant indicating that this is policy.
I realize there are various moral and ethical implications at play, but is this legal? For what it’s worth, we are in the state of Connecticut, and the restaurant is an independent restaurant (not affiliated with our University).
