Why Do Cons Choose To Ignore The Scientific Consensus On Global Warming?

I’ve noticed cons like to get their science from political websites.
A political organization, an amateur website, a blog, one person. These are not SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS.
=================
All well established SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS engaged in climate research support man made global warming.
1. AMERICAN METEOROLOGICAL SOCIETY, FOUNDED IN 1919, OVER 14,000 MEMBERS
“There is unequivocal evidence that Earth’s lower atmosphere, ocean, and land surface are warming; sea level is rising; and snow cover, mountain glaciers, and Arctic sea ice are shrinking. The dominant cause of the warming since the 1950s is human activities. This scientific finding is based on a large and persuasive body of research.”http://www.ametsoc.org/POLICY/2012climat…
2. THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY, FOUNDED IN 1876, OVER 164,000 MEMBERS
“However, comprehensive scientific assessments of our current and potential future climates clearly indicate that climate change is real, largely attributable to emissions from human activities, and potentially a very serious problem.”http://portal.acs.org/portal/acs/corg/co…
3. GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA, FOUNDED IN 1888, OVER 24,0000 MEMBERS
“The Geological Society of America (GSA) concurs with assessments by the National Academies of Science (2005), the National Research Council (2006), and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, 2007) that global climate has warmed and that human activities (mainly greenhouse‐gas emissions) account for most of the warming since the middle 1900s.”http://www.geosociety.org/positions/posi…
4. AMERICAN GEOPHYSICAL UNION, FOUNDED IN 1919, OVER 45,000 MEMBERS
“The scientific evidence for human activity impacting climate is strong and widely accepted within the
scientific community. Given the significant current and potential impacts of climate change,
scientists have a unique responsibility to educate the public and public policy makers on this topic.”http://www.agu.org/sci_pol/pdf/position_…
5. THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE, FOUNDED IN 1848, SERVES 262 AFFILIATED SOCIETIES AND ACADEMIES OF SCIENCE FOR A TOTAL OF 10 MILLION INDIVIDUALS
“The scientific evidence is clear: global climate change caused by human activities is occurring now, and it is a growing threat to society. Accumulating data from across the globe reveal a wide array of effects: rapidly melting glaciers, destabilization of major ice sheets, increases in extreme weather, rising sea level, shifts in species ranges, and more. The pace of change and the evidence of harm have increased markedly over the last five years. The time to control greenhouse gas emissions is now.”http://www.aaas.org/news/press_room/clim…

I Don’t Know What I Should Do To Make New Friends?

I graduated from college in a small town about a year ago. I landed a good job in the same town as the college, so I still hang out with a lot of my college friends and they come to my house and spend time. A lot of people would consider me pretty popular for being a graduate. Lately, however, it feels like I’ve not been in contact with my friends as often and they have been entering other social circles and we’ve grown someone apart.
It’s hard to make new friends outside of the college here because my town doesn’t have a lot of people my age in it.
An easy solution that I have considered, one that will gain me new friends and renew my relationship with my older friends, is to jump back into the college social life and start making plans with people/attending social events/trying to meet new people at the college. But to me, this just feels weird, and makes me feel like people would consider me weird since I don’t attend classes there any longer, and I don’t want to feel like the person ‘who can’t let his college years go’ even through I graduated there last year.
But this seems like the only option, as our small town is rural, there aren’t a lot of people my age around, and there are no real community events or chances to meet people my age who aren’t affiliated with the college.
Should I go back into the social life?

Can Anyone Recommend A Great Playwriting Class In New York City?

I would like to find a place that offers classes to adults in the evening, and is affiliated with a theater or a theater group — so not a college. I took a weekend workshop at ESPA a few months ago which was good. Has anyone taken a class at the Flea Theater, or have other suggestions?

What Is Susan Rice’s Best Quality? Transparency, Incompetence, Or Willingness To Lie?

I guess willingness to lie is her best quality to people who love to be mislead. Those that hated Bush and Condoleeza sure fawn all over this Rice. She couldn’t say it was a terrorist attack because that was classified???? We all knew it was planned terrorist attack when it was reported. She stayed on message for 5 days LYING when the al-Qaida affiliate was claiming responsibility in 48 hours!!!???

Will Asurion Replace A Phone A Day After I Got The Insurance?

I got my phone on black friday, the lady that sold me the phone told me I had to put the insurance on myself because staples does not affiliate with asurion. I put insurance on my phone yesterday and later that very day I leaned against a table while installing a printer for my father and put too much pressure at the wrong angle on my phone. It was indeed after I got the insurance, but I’m not too trustful of companies like asurion, and was hoping someone could give me some reassurance that they will provide me with a new (or refurbished) samsung galaxy s3, or if they decide to think that I put the insurance on after I damaged the phone and not replace it at all. Please help and please be dead honest, thanks!

Can Anyone Help Me Find A Program To Make A Few Hundred Dollars Online That Costs Nothing?

Most money making programs cost money and even free ones lead to paying for something, such as hosting or PPC ads. I actually went through some pay for programs that cost $47.00 and then got a refund before the deadline since they were crap or you had to pay for other things that were not mentioned in the sales video. I have no income but borrowed a credit card to try these programs and got a refund, so no money was spent. If I had made money then I would have just payed back my relative right away. I do not want to do all that work to create something, such as a website. Placing affiliate ads all over does nothing either. I have done that and got nowhere. I need something that is quick, simple and makes money. Free would be best but if a cheap program works and I don’t have to buy anything else then I would try it. There is just too much tedious work involved in the real programs and you still need to pay for hosting and domain names or ads.
