Moving From One Apartment To Another?

I am planning on moving from my duplex to a cheaper apartment affiliated with my university. My original lease was from March 2012 until September 2012. I told my landlord I want to extend my lease, but never signed any paperwork for the extension. So, my question is, would it count as a broken lease if I moved out in January? Just curious, I may not move until this coming March. Thanks!

If I Am Listing 6 Programs In A Paper Should They All Be In One Paragraph?

I have it like this:
The U.S. government also published six signs of a housing scam. The first sign is when a company or person asks for a fee in advance for any type of loan modification. These types of fees are prohibited by the Federal Trade Commission.
The second sign is when a company or person guarantees that they can stop a foreclosure or get your loan modified. There is no one other than the company lending you the money that can do this.
The third sign is when a company or person advises you to stop paying your mortgage company and pay them instead and there is never a situation where anyone should receive a payment other than your mortgage company.
A fourth sign is when a company insists that they can help as soon as a person signs over the title to a home and then hands you any paperwork that you haven’t read or don’t understand.
A fifth sign is when a company claims to offer government approved loan modifications. And there are many agencies that pretend to be affiliated with the federal government that aren’t really federally “official.”
Last but not least, a sixth sign that a company is scamming you or someone else is when they ask you to release personal financial information.
Also, I am using this and that excessively in this paper. What are some other words I can use?

Child’s Dr Called And Insulted Me?

My mom is a nurse and has known a pediatrician in the area for years. We tried to take my son there and they made us wait for 3-4 hrs because they had alot of Medicaid patients. We have private insurance & do not like to wait that long with a sick child (can you blame us?). They had people out in the hall laying out there, kids eating in the lobby, kids stepping all over us, so we left. His real pediatrician (and mine as a kid) retired after over 50 yrs of excellent care.
We decided to try what I would call a “yuppy” pediatricians office. They do not even to go the hospital we are affiliated with (my mom works for and my 2nd child will also be born at in early 2013). I filled out alot of paperwork and casually asked the tech on the phone if they took Medicaid. She said no, only private insurance and I said ok good b/c that last one who we went to said they did and there was a long hold up.
I didnt say a word in the office about it I dont think and that pediatrician he saw called me up personally and balled me out about why I asked that question, I was basically in the wrong and they will take it forever and they have to help low income people. The lady said they don’t take it. He told me if I didn’t like it then its not a good fit. We are planning on finding another Dr that isn’t so confrontational about trivial questions . I understand him wondering why I asked that. My mom knows a lot about Medicaid and we just wanted a better clinic than that other one that’s why I asked. Should he have been that nasty and harsh with me and should those girls have played telephone about it? They might not even care that we are leaving.

Job Offer Rescinded?!?

I recently interviewed twice with a company that was supposed to be a temp for hire position.
They immediately notified my recruiter that they were interested in me and wanted to extend an offer, but nothing official because they were waiting for the government to approve the funding for the positions.
We went through the motions of doing the background check and everything, the company then decided they wanted to hire me directly (not temp period) so I had to fill out an official job application and all that, which was sent through my recruiter.
No word for a week or so. My recruiter (NOT affiliated with the company) said everything was fine and they were just waiting for the background check and salary approval and all that, I guess. But to not worry.
Today I get a phone call from her saying the company had let her know that they have two employees who are currently not on projects, and they’re trying to see if they can fill the position with one of them.
wtf??? why go through all the motions and making me fill out all these paperwork, call my references, conduct a background check, promise me the job, only to fill it internally?
Needless to say, I’m pissed. I spent a month not looking for another job (currently laid off) because this company had promised me a job, and it was looking hopeful from all the things they were saying and having me fill out.
They said they would let my recruiter know on Monday what they decide, but I’m obviously not hopeful. It’s easier for them to just fill the position with a current employee than a new one, but I wish they had been upfront about this from the beginning.

How Should My College Pagan Student Group Raise Money For Ritual Supplies And Other Group-related Expenses?

I’m not sure if we should ask for dues, since the group is starting out and I don’t want to turn off any potential members because we are demanding money from them. Perhaps we could have a fundraiser? What could be a cool, fun, possibly Pagan-themed fundraiser? Maybe we could do both?
We’re already planning to gain some revenue when we host community events (where we are open to the public and not just our students) where we will ask for a fee from non-college-affiliated people attending.
But the school does not support any groups financially, and if we decide to have a fundraising event, we have to submit a formal request and have it approved, which may take awhile and involves the hassle of paperwork.
What should we do?
