So I want to start investing in the stock market but have no clue about it. I want to do some research. I am a freshmen in college so my vocabulary isn’t the best. People have suggested I read investing for dummies. Any thoughts?

Im looking for a book that will teach me the basic principles and fundamentals and show me how to and whats best to invest in and just everything that needs to be known before jumping into the investing world?

What are some book recommendations for stock market investing. I’m currently interested in books that teach the basic principles in multiple areas such as day trading and long term trading, however if they cover more advanced topics that would also be fine.
