Making Money With Website–ads Or Subscription?

I’m in the process of building a unique website that should attract a good number of repeat visitors in a niche market. I personally think most ads are sooo annoying. But then I want to make money too.
The website will offer an ongoing service and develop a semiloyal following who will hopefully refer their friends. So I could charge for subscriptions or sell adspace or both.
For simplicity sake it seems the best bet would be subscriptions, but then I would lose so many people who are looking for a freebie. I would retain some paying customers though.
I wouldn’t know where to begin by making money with ads, but then everybody would run to my site because it was free. What do you guys think? Should I offer free accounts with ads and paid accounts without ads?

How to Find and Market Affiliate Programs That Fit With Your Business

Comments (0)

Affiliate programs are a great way to make money because you don’t have to do anything but market them. The owner of the product takes care of the setup, maintaining the site, and they take care of the customers. This is why it’s worth it to take the time to market these types of products.

There are a number of sites that offer affiliate programs all in one place. It makes it easier to find products that are in line with your business. When you market products that are what your target market uses and needs, it will be easier to make sales. ClickBank and E-junkie are two that you can check out when you’re looking for products to market.

When you decide to look for products that are in line with your target market, you need to think about what they like, what they use, and what can help them. You don’t want to try to market things that they won’t use. Doing that is the best way to not have sales. If you can’t figure this out, create a survey and send it to your market. When they send the survey back, send a freebie of some sort to thank them for taking the time.

Once you have the ideas in place, go to the different affiliate sites and search for products that meet what you need. Most programs offer wonderful tools to help you promote the products you choose. They offer tools like buttons, banners, text ads, blog posts, and articles you can use. While these tools are not important, they do make it easier to promote the products.

Now that you have the products picked out, it’s time to start promoting them. There are several different ways to promote these products. You can add a button to your site that links to your program. This will help with the people that visit your site.

Another way to promote these products is to create a Twitter or Facebook post. Remember the 140 character limit on Twitter when you’re creating this ad. It’s a good idea to use a TinyURL link so it takes up minimal space in your ad.

Affiliate marketing is an easy way to make money with less work. You can find a number of products that’ll be a perfect for your target market and you’ll be able to increase your income while helping them at the same time.

The Power of Freebies in Affiliate Marketing

Everyone wants a freebie. Who would want to refuse a freebie anyway? Perhaps, eight or nine out of ten people would accept a freebie and one or two will forego it for some reasons. No matter how inexpensive a freebie is, people would be glad to accept it perhaps because it is human nature to be appreciative of gifts. In affiliate marketing, making use of gifts can be very beneficial especially if you know how to strategically deploy them. These are the best ways to offer freebies so you can have excellent marketing rewards.
Use Freebies in Your Marketing Campaign
In affiliate marketing, a freebie can be a very powerful instrument to turn your site visitors into loyal customers. If you offer some good and useful freebies, your site visitors will surely come back for more. But it is important to remember that they will have to find the freebies you are offering relevant and that there has to be a relevance between the main service or product you are promoting and the freebies you are offering on your site as well. A good example of a freebie you can offer if, let’s say, your main product is an e-book about party planning is a short report on how to host a successful party. Make sure that the freebie you are offering should promote or supplement the main product and highlight its importance.
Offer Useful Freebies but Offer Better Products
Of course, offering something that your visitors won’t just ignore is a great way of catching their attention and making come back for more. But make sure that the freebies you are offering on your site is no better than the products you are selling. Offer freebies to enhance the use of the product you are selling and not to make the customers ignore your premium offers. Your freebies are only part of your marketing strategy to attract more visitors and persuade them to make a purchase. If you make your freebies better than the products you are offering, then forget about making money from your affiliate marketing site.
Offering freebies is already a proven strategy that can be a very valuable tool in affiliate marketing. There are so many freebies you can afford to offer on your affiliate marketing site. A good example is to offer a useful mini-ebook that also promotes your affiliate marketing products or offer free shipping of products at a certain period of time. By imposing a time restriction, your site visitors will be encouraged to take advantage of the offer and make a purchase immediately
