   Definitely white hat. With publishing, SEO is very important because Adsense will use contextual keyword analysis to base the ads on. This is an important piece because the category Adsense places you in has a huge effect on CPC and revenue collected.
   -Should i use a static website or a cms one?
   Depends on how often/likely you are to update. For example small 5-10 microsites are easier to deploy than a CMS such as wordpress, but a CMS is easier to update but has more management burden.
   -How to place ads for best results? There is no easy answer. You will want to experiment with different layouts/sizes and colors. It will vary per user and device and in some cases with a user base they can develop ad blindness causing more tweaks.
   -Can adsense and affiliate marketing work together?
   Affiliates aren’t typically a traffic SOURCE for adsense publishers, except in very rare situations. But affiliate OFFERS are often a great replacement or even compliment for adsense. Be careful not to pick spammy offers though as Google will sometimes do manual review of the property.
   -And what things can harm my site? Short list: bad content, objectional content, copyrighted content, comment spam, black hat SEO, bad user practices (too many popups etc) basically just make good content decisions.
