Most of us are raised religious, but than we get enlightened, we wake up and smell the **** you’re dishing out.

  2. auskiwi1 says:

What is “this new atheist movement”?
Everyone is born atheist, nothing new about that

  3. Rod says:

Could you explain the difference between the ‘new’ and ‘old’ atheist movements.
It seems to me it has been one continuous line of people leaving the church.

  4. John Connor says:

    It’s not failing.

  5. Dave says:

is it like new labour was ? lol

  6. Soltaneu says:

im trying to do what? only i know what to try. i have my own personaility

  7. Adresse says:

I was born and raised in a religious family , where i pried and fasted as a muslim , then after researchers i got to know it’s all wrong , all religions are wrong so it has nothing to do with movements , it’s rational .
None forced me and i’ll force none . I just hope people would figure it out before they murder each other

  8. You says:

no, i dont think it matters, and the church does it dirty. i havent heard any atheist using fear to convince people. (no sarcasm intended) and you can learn public speaking any where. wait who said it was failing? … and what movement? where do i sign? what do i picket? just tell me ill be there lol it wont fail on my watch

  9. King of Chaos says:

I doubt it. I don’t like “new atheism” because it lumps atheism in with science, materialism, secularism and anti-religion.
Atheism is just not believing that God exists. That’s it. True atheism is nothing like what “new atheists” like Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, and all those atheists here on YA have turned it into. So-called “new atheists” are posers. They’re maltheists, naturalists, and anti-religious types pretending to be atheists. I wouldn’t have a problem with them if they didn’t pretend to be atheists and didn’t make a cult of science.

No I think it’s failing because it’s boring.
Nobody really cares why people don’t believe in God. Not believing is enough. The “new atheist” movement seems to have forgotten this and gone on a mission to explain why they don’t believe.
It’s like listening to someone describe a dream. Fascinating to them. Boring as bat **** to anyone else.
