How To Revert Back To Windows 7 Home Premium From Windows 8 Pro?

I am about to buy Windows 8 Pro this weekend probably, and was wandering in-case I don’t like Windows 8 or have issues with it, if it is possible to revert back to windows 7. I do have a External Hard drive that is 2 Terabytes and has My System Image and Backup for all my computers, which i will probably redo before I upgrade to windows 8. Also wandering is there any TECHNICAL problems with windows 8? (Besides the way it looks and the confusing UI, I’m pretty good with computers so It won’t be confusing to me.)

Sure, if you have a backup image then it’ll be easy to restore your image. Just boot from your copy of Windows 8 into the recovery environment and you can restore from a system image. Here’s a link.http://winsupersite.com/article/windows8…
You don’t have to create recovery media if you use your upgrade media. The upgrade media also has the recovery environment built in just like previous versions of Windows.
Oh, and here’s a free e-book about getting around in Windows and another link of tips you’ll want to know.http://marketing.dell.com/windows-8-eboo…http://www.techradar.com/us/news/softwar…
To avoid the most technical issues I recommend a clean install of 8 instead of an upgrade. A lot of people do the upgrade install and get though just fine but others somehow end up with a PC that won’t restart or shut down and have other strange quirks.
I haven’t read of any serious technical problems but I’d double check to make sure there are Windows 8 drivers for your hardware.

    1. Revert to IE6 in Windows XP and most earlier versions of Windows by using the “Add or Remove Programs” feature of Windows. Close any other programs running on your computer before you begin. Click your “Start” button and choose “Control Panel.” In the Control Panel, open “Add or Remove Programs” (older versions of Windows may list this as “Add/Remove Programs.”
    2. Click on your later version of Internet Explorer to highlight it. Click the “Remove” button. Windows should remove your newer version of Internet Explorer automatically. When removal is complete, you should no longer see the newer version of Internet Explorer in the “Add or Remove Programs” list.
    3. Remove Service Pack 3 for Windows XP (if present) before reverting to IE6. If Service Pack 3 is installed, Windows XP will not show IE7 or IE8 under “Add or Remove Programs.” In “Add or Remove Programs,” click the “Show Updates” checkbox at the top of the window to display all updates. Highlight “Windows XP Service Pack 3” and click “Remove.”
    4. Restart your computer after the Service Pack 3 removal process is complete. Use the standard process to revert to IE6. Restart your computer again. Re-install Windows XP Service Pack 3.
    5. Uninstall your later version of Internet Explorer manually if you’re unable to revert to IE6 via “Add or Remove Programs.” Open “My Documents” or “Windows Explorer” if you haven’t already made hidden files and folders visible on your computer. Click on “Tools” menu and choose “Folder Options.” Click the “View” tab. Select “Show hidden files and folders” and click “OK.”
    6. Browse to your Windows installation directory (usually C:Windows) in “My Computer” or “Windows Explorer.” Browse to “IE7” or “IE8,” depending on which version of Internet Explorer you have installed. Open the “spuninst” folder and run “spuninst.exe.” A wizard will open to walk you through the process of uninstalling your newer version of Internet Explorer. After uninstallation is complete, you can verify you’ve reverted to IE6 by opening Internet Explorer and clicking the “Help” menu. Choose “About Internet Explorer” and confirm that the version listed begins with 6.
