Different denominations and individual christians not affiliated to denominations claim if you ”prayerfully wait upon the Lord” he will guide you to the truth. They have, and he has guided them to different truths. Strange?

Not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is led by The Spirit. It also seems that God isn’t overly concerned with slight doctrinal differences between those who are. Where there are major differences ~ such as concerning the deity of Christ, and the way man is made right with God ~ there can be no tolerance. Only one side of these issues is actually in possession of the truth.
